To complement our Ab Initio programs, we also offer modular flight programs. These continue to prove highly successful for those looking to take their time in obtaining their pilot licenses. Here are our available courses:
Private Pilot Licenses
A Private Pilot License (PPL) permits any holder to fly private aircraft. Holders don’t have remuneration from any flight. In this course, cadets are required to master the basic theoretical frameworks of flight for 3 weeks. Cadets are also required to complete 40 hours of basic training in the Cessna 172 and 5 hours in the simulator. At the end of the program, cadets are required to take a skill test to obtain their license.
Commercial Pilot Licenses
A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) permits any holder to fly an aircraft for remuneration. In this course, cadets are required to spend 11 weeks learning advanced theoretical knowledge on flight. Cadets are also required to spend 140 hours in the Cessna 172 and 5 hours in the simulator to learn advanced cross country flying. Upon completion, cadets are required to take a skill test to obtain their license.
An Instrument Rating permits any private or commercial pilot holder to fly aircrafts at night or during unfavorable weather conditions. In this course, cadets are required to spend 20 hours on the Cessna 172’s glass cockpit and 20 hours on the flight simulator. Upon completion, cadets are required to take a test to obtain their certificate rating.
