Building Fleet Size, Building Capabilities

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga – Alpha Aviation Group Philippines continues to build capabilities through the successful purchase of six additional Cessna 172s in support to the company’s aggressive expansion initiatives.

The newly acquired aircraft from Australia are on their final stages of assembly and are set to be operational early next year.

These additional aircraft will build up AAG’s training capacity, which will allow the team to be able to accommodate the training needs of its cadet pilots, specifically on the core-flying phase, in a much faster pace.

“Maintaining the youngest, safest, most advanced, highly efficient core flying trainer aircraft fleet in the country is becoming more and more challenging. But we are committed not only to sustain but also to expand the fleet so we can continue delivering world-class quality training,” said AAG’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Mr. Cristopher Magdangal.

AAG Philippines currently has a total of 28 aircraft including the six newly purchased ones. It aims to expand to at least 32 operational aircraft by the end of the financial year, making it the biggest pilot training organization in the Philippines in terms of fleet size.
