A330 Type Rating Program

The A330 Type Rating Course builds pilot proficiency through a structured, hands-on program that emphasizes practical application of systems, SOPs, and crew coordination. With a training-to-proficiency approach, pilots advance only upon demonstrating the competence required to operate the A330 safely and effectively.

Admission Eligibility

Must hold the following certificate and licenses:

Valid CPL/IR

Valid Radio License

Current Medical Certificate (Class I)

English Language Proficiency (minimum ICAO Level 4)

Pilot Logbook with at least 200 flight hours (including 100 as Pilot in Command)

MCC and JOT Certificates

Initial A320 Type Rating Program

The A320 Initial Type Rating is designed to qualify pilots on the Airbus A320 family, providing in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, operations, and procedures. MCC develops effective teamwork and decision-making, while JOT ensures a smooth transition to modern jet operations, preparing pilots to operate the A320.

Cross Crew Qualification Program

The A330 to A320 Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) Course is designed for A330 type-rated pilots with at least three months of operational experience and a minimum of 200 flight hours on type. The program enables pilots to transition seamlessly within the Airbus family by addressing the key differences between the A330 and A320.

Conducted in pairs, the course typically takes around one month to complete, depending on equipment availability.
