CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga – Alpha Aviation Group Philippines continues to prove that it is not just an organization providing world-class pilot training solutions. Moreover, it is a family; a family that truly cares.
Headed by the Volunteers Club, the AAG family organizes a fund-raising event for Hezekiah Liel Sagun, daughter of one of the IT support staff under FIG Manpower Agency. “Liel”, who is turning 4 years old this Friday (December 20), is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last February and is undergoing cycles of chemotherapy for her treatment.
The “It’s time to Save a Life. Be a Lifesaver!” fund raising event aims to extend financial assistance to the Sagun Family through cash donations from cadets and staff, and selling of shirts, snacks and other delicacies. “We really believe in the strength of a united AAG family”, said Ms. Ma. Christina Pineda, Head of Admin and Logistics and adviser of the Volunteers Club.
The fundraising event starts through an AVP showing the purpose of today’s activity. Shortly after the AVP, Liel is introduced and the whole AAG Family welcomed her while joyfully singing a happy birthday song. AAG’s Regional Director – Mr. Cristopher Magdangal and Accountable Manager – Capt. Manuel Foronda are also present to share encouraging and uplifting words for Liel and for her parents, affirming that they have a family in AAG. Ms. Ma. Christina Pineda lead a prayer for healing then after the prayer, the booths for the fundraising event commenced. Together, as a family, AAG cadets and staff partake on this wonderful opportunity to share while enjoying the fellowship with one another.
