Ab-initio Program (CAAV)

AAG Philippines is an Approved Training Organization (ATO) and a certified Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO) for the Airbus A320. AAG Philippines is the only training academy in the country capable of providing the comprehensive suite of airline-standard training programmes. AAG Philippines is currently the world’s largest independent producer of Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) pilots, and is proud to have a robust track record of successful airline placements of its graduates. AAG Philippines’ record of producing airline ready pilots speaks for itself, starting from instilling an airline mindset at the onset of their classroom lectures, to incorporating airline practices early in the basic flight training, and meeting global airline standards in the Airbus 320 training phase.
Program Design
For aspiring airline pilots, AAG Philippines offers the Ab-initio Program (CAAV). This programme is designed to provide the cadet with basic flight training and Airbus A320 training. It is comprised of classroom lecture, Computer-Based Training (CBT), simulator flight training on a fixed-base simulator, and actual flight training to develop their basic flight competency, and A320 training in our state-of-the-art simulators. This course provides the cadet with sufficient theoretical knowledge and experience to qualify as an A320 First Officer. The training duration is approximately 21 months*.

The following application requirements can be initially submitted through email, and must be presented in person:
- Resume
- Birth Certificate
- Transcript of Records (if applicable)
- Passport
- Travel Insurance
- Three (3) pieces of 2″x2″ ID photos
- Copy of Medical Insurance
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, etc.)
