Role: Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) – Airbus A320
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver simulator-based instruction to CPL holders undergoing Airbus A320 Type Rating.
- Ensure all training is conducted in strict compliance with DGCA regulations and aligned with airline operational standards.
- Maintain high instructional, safety, and standardization benchmarks during simulator training.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Current and qualified Airbus A320 SFI, or
- Airbus A320–qualified pilot who has functioned as PIC within the preceding three years and is eligible to undergo initial SFI training as per DGCA regulations.
Additional Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum total flying experience: 3,500 hours
- Minimum total command time: 1,500 hours
- Minimum command time on Airbus A320: 1,000 hours
- Must not have tested positive for alcohol during any pre- or post-flight medical check in the previous three years
- Must not have been held blameworthy for:
- Any aircraft accident in the previous three years, or
- Any aircraft incident in the previous one year
Initial SFI training requirements, as per DGCA CAR 7-I-II, will be conducted by ACAT.
