New First Officer-Qualified Pilots Complete Training at AAG

Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines – A joint graduation ceremony was held on 27 April 2024, to celebrate fifteen (15) cadet pilots from different batches of AAG’s Airline Pilot Program (APP) and one (1) First Officer Transition (FOT) trainee for completing their training.

“To our dear graduates, your hard work and determination brought you to this significant milestone in your flying career. Fly high, stay true to your dreams and continue reaching for the sky,” shares Capt. Gaudencio Maniano (AAG International Center for Aviation Training [AICAT] Accountable Manager) in his welcome remarks.

First Officer Jose Miguel Lising, graduating with distinction, shared in his celebratory message: “Despite all the challenges and hardships, we managed to push through. We are now at the point where we say to ourselves, ‘Wow! I went through all of that, and I accomplished it.’ Now, the next step for us is to move forward.”

Capt. Richard Anthony Gonzaga (Chief Instructor Pilot – A320 Philippine Airlines Express) graced the ceremony as the guest of honor and speaker, inspiring the graduates to not lose sight of the paths they’ve traveled. “You still have a long way to go. Don’t rush to get what you want in life. Life is not a race. Continue to pursue what ignites your passion, and you too will surely have defining moments in life,” Capt. Gonzaga shares.

In his closing remarks, Capt. Tito Zosa (AAGP Head of Training) emphasized that while it may take time and effort, he encouraged the graduates to take heart as they continue their journey in aviation. (AAG News)
