AAG Maintenance Training Center Internship Programs Go Full Swing

Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines – AAG International Center for Aviation Training (AICAT) Maintenance Training Center (MTC) operations continue to go full-swing as it welcomed on 03 March 2023 the second batch of the Flight Dispatcher Internship Program (FDIP) comprising of fifteen (15) students from PATTS College of Aeronautics.

Capt. Vicente Casibang II (AAG Philippines Accountable Manager) and Capt. Napoleon Garcia (AICAT-AMO Accountable Manager) formally welcomed the trainees. Both Accountable Managers underscored the important role of flight dispatchers in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations and reaffirmed AAG’s commitment to providing the best possible training value and experience, which would allow the trainees to develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their careers. They also emphasized the value of learning and development as the trainees prepare to embark on their journeys in the aviation industry.

The FDIP is a 2-month-long specialized training designed to provide trainees with extensive knowledge in operating flight dispatch systems for small aircraft like the Cessna C172 and Tecnam P2006T.

Aside from the FDIP, the AICAT-MTC also offers Aviation Maintenance Internship Program (AMIP), Aeronautical Engineering Internship Program (AEIP) and Supplemental Proficiency Program (SPP). (AAG Corporate Affairs)
