AAG Unveils New CAAP-Approved A320 Full Flight Simulator

Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga– Alpha Aviation Group (AAG), proudly announces the installation and CAAP (Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines) approval of its latest Airbus A320 Level-D Full Flight Simulator (FSTD). The regulatory audit and inspection were conducted on 14 April 2025 at the AAG Headquarters located in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. The audit was led by Atty. Nestor Pasano, Head of Licensing at CAAP, and was facilitated by AAG Philippines Accountable Manager, Captain Vicente Casibang II, along with members of AAG’s Synthetic Training Team, Simulator Department and Compliance and Internal Audit Department. The inspection focused on verifying the correct operation of the simulator’s controls, instruments, and systems under both normal and abnormal conditions, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

The newest A320 FFS features advanced technologies including Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) capability, version 2.0 of the Instructor Operating Station (IOS), enhanced visual systems, and real smoke simulation. These innovations provide pilots with more realistic, immersive, and safety-focused training experiences that meet the evolving demands of global aviation.

The newly commissioned, state-of-the-art A320 (FSTD) brings AAG’s simulator fleet to a total of four (4)—three (3) for the A320, including one (1) EASA-approved, and one (1) for the A330/340. This expansion further solidifies AAG’s position as a top-of-class aviation training hub in the region.
