SNPL 2.0 Signing Ceremony – 7 October 2019

Alpha Aviation Group and RCBC Ceremonial Signing for the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program 2.0

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Philippines – Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) formally seal today an agreement for the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program 2.0. This is an enhanced loan program with more flexible loan terms and extended paybreak designed to provide financial assistance to aspiring airline pilots.

The newly signed Memorandum of Agreement between AAG and RCBC is an enhanced version of the existing Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program launched in 2013. With the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program 2.0, aspiring pilot trainees can avail of the extended 24-month paybreak, sufficient to cover the training duration of the zero to hero pilot training course, the Airline Pilot Program (APP), offered by AAG.

Representing AAG and RCBC are Mr. Cristopher Magdangal (AAG Regional Director, Asia Pacific) and Mr. Rommel Latinazo (former RCBC Savings Bank President and currently RCBC Consumer Lending Group Head). Witnessing the signing ceremony are the entire management team and personnel of AAG and partners from RCBC Head Office and Pampanga Branch.

“We started the program (SNPL) when Alpha Aviation Group’s assets are at a minimum – 4 aircraft, 1 full-flight simulator…Today, we are launching the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program version 2.0 with 3 full-flight simulators, 22 aircraft, and 400 cadets, ” Cristopher Magdangal, AAG Regional Director for Asia-Pacific, said.

Since 2013, the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program has been an avenue for over 40 aspiring airline pilots, some of whom have already graduated from the program and are now successfully flying with leading airlines such as PALEx, Cebu Pacific and Air Asia (PH).

With the SNPL program’s proven track record, AAG is set to continue seeking for more schemes to strengthen partnerships and build capabilities in response to the prevailing growth in air travel and aviation industry. AAG believes that working together with its industry partners is the key to achieve this collective goal of providing top-of-class training solutions.
