10 Pilots Inducted to AAG A320 Type Rating Program

Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines –Nine (9) cadet pilots from AAG’s Airline Pilot Program (APP) batches 64 and 66, along with one (1) CPL holder from other flight school, were inducted for the AAG A320 Airbus Type Rating on 25 June 2024. This marks a significant milestone in their journey, highlighting their dedication and hard work, and preparing them to transition into roles as first officers in the commercial airline industry.

Capt. Tito Zosa (AAGP, Head of Training), warmly welcomed the trainees, commending their determination and achievement. He provided an overview of the transition training, emphasizing the crucial role the A320 type rating course plays in advancing their careers as pilots.

Also graced in the event were Capt. Ernestine Marie Noveloso, Capt. Gaudencio Maniano, and Capt. Lindo Gigante (AAGP Synthetic Flight Instructors), who extended their greetings and assured the cadets of their guidance throughout their training. They underscored one of AAG’s core values, service excellence, in delivering world-class training experience.

The A320 Airbus Phase Program can be completed within 12 weeks or approximately three months. During this period, the pilot is expected to cover the entire program and accumulate the necessary simulator flying hours to enhance their advantage of securing a seat in the flight deck. The training is conducted using AAG’s European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved Level D Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator and Airbus A320 Fixed Base Simulator. (AAG News)
