AAG A320 Type Rating Program Takes in 9 New Trainees

Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines – Four (4) cadets belonging to batches 49 & 50 of AAG’s Airline Pilot Program (APP) and five (5) CPL holders who graduated from other pilot schools were inducted to First Officer Transition (FOT) Program on 27 June 2023. This marked the last phase of their intensive training before they officially become first officers.

“Today marks an incredibly exciting journey towards becoming certified Airbus A320 pilots. Our team is ready to support and nurture you through the training process until you are ready to join the league of renowned aviators and experience the unparalleled thrill that comes with flying this remarkable aircraft,” shares Capt. Anthony Tan (AAG Philippines Head of Training).

Capt. Vicente Casibang II (AAGP Accountable Manager) also extended his greetings to the trainees, highlighting the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, refining their skills, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry for a successful career.

The FOT Program is designed to develop the students’ pilot competencies following ICAO’s Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) principles and utilizing a pool of highly-experienced and competent instructors, and the most comprehensive suite of state-of-the-art training devices and tools. (AAG Corporate Affairs)
