Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines – Five (5) cadets belonging to batches 42, 45 & 46 of AAG’s Airline Pilot Program (APP) and five (5) CPL holders who graduated from other pilot schools were inducted to the First Officer Transition (FOT) Program on 29 August 2023, signifying the culmination of their intensive training before their official transition to first officers.
“You’ve made the right decision to opt for a type rating now and choosing AAG as your training institution. In the world of aviation, continuous learning is essential, and we’re here to support you throughout your journey,” shared Capt. Anthony Tan (AAGP Head of Training) in his welcome remarks.
Capt. Rizalindo Gigante (AAGP Synthetic Flight Instructor) also extended his greetings to the trainees, highlighting the importance of humility and kindness. “As a pilot, you’ll encounter different situations that will test your knowledge, values, skills, and attitude. Learn to step out of your comfort zone, for it is through these challenges that profound learning occurs,” he added.
Designed in line with ICAO’s Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) principles, AAG’s FOT Program aims to develop the students’ pilot competencies, achieved by ensuring a holistic approach involving our team of competent instructors and utilizing cutting-edge training devices and resources.
