The Study Now, Pay Later (SNPL) Program

AAG, in partnership with BDO, presents aspiring pilots an opportunity to finance their pilot training through the Study Now, Pay Later (SNPL) Program. The program is an educational loan program in a form of a home loan and is exclusively offered to AAG’s pilot Trainees.

What Does the SNPL Program Offer?

There are 2 courses in AAG that can be financed through SNPL

Airline Pilot Program

The Airline Pilot Program (APP) is AAG’s zero-to-hero program designed to provide trainees with sufficient theoretical knowledge and flying competencies from zero until eventually qualifying for a rating on an Airbus A320. Under the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program, trainees taking this flagship course will be able to avail the following loan features:

Flexible loan package payable up to maximum of ten (10) years
Minimum Loan of Php 500,000 & maximum loan amount of up to 85% of the appraised value under all-in financing
Prevailing rates at the time of loan release; or the latest promo rate, whichever is lower
Appraisal fee waived for the first property
Light payment option (interest only for 12 months)
Built-in insurance

First Officer Transition Program

The First Officer Transition (FOT) Program is a full Airbus A320 Type Rating Training package designed for CPL/IR license holders with limited experience. Successful completion of this program provides the required elements to get a rating on the Airbus A320. Under the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program, trainees who take this flagship program will be able to avail the following SNPL features:

Flexible loan package for the program fees payable up to maximum of ten (10) years
Minimum Loan of Php 500,000 & maximum loan amount of up to 85% of the appraised value under all-in financing
Prevailing rates at the time of loan release; or the latest promo rate, whichever is lower
Appraisal fee waived for the first property
Light payment option (interest only for 3 months)
Built-in insurance

How to Qualify for the SNPL Program?

To be eligible for AAG’s Study Now, Pay Later (SNPL) Program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

Must pass AAG’s screening / application process
Parents or guardians to act as principal borrowers while the trainee as the co-borrower
Program is offered to Filipino nationals

Study Now, Pay Later (SNPL) Program

The Study Now, Pay Later program is brought about by a partnership between AAG and BDO through the use of the bank’s home loan. Its features include:

Flexible loan package for tuition fee payable up to 10 years
Minimum loan amount of P500,000
Maximum loan amount of 85% of the appraised property value under all-in financing
Waived appraisal fee for the first property

Depending on the course of the student, they can get the following light payment options:

Interest only for 12 months for students under the APP

Interest only for 3 months for students under the FOT

Only trainees under the APP or FOT can use the Study Now Pay Later (SNPL) Program and the benefits that it brings. To be considered for this financial product, the applicants must successfully accomplish and submit a number of forms and documents.

Basic Requirements

Completely filled out BDO Home Loan Application Form
2 valid IDs with the borrower’s photo and signature
Marriage contract, if applicable
Endorsement or certification from a qualified AAG trainee

Income Requirements for Employed Individuals

Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
Latest Certificate of Employment with Compensation (COEC)
Latest 3 months pay slip
Company or HR email address with the contact person and contact number

Income Requirements If the Borrower is Self-employed

Business Papers, Financial Statements, or ITR from the past 2 years
Bank statements from the past 3 months
List of traders and suppliers with at least 3 major references

Collateral Documents

Photocopy of TCT/CCT (Title)
Photocopy of Tax Declaration
Authorization to tax map signed by the registered owner
